Well, my scrapping has been suffering folks! Up until this past weekend I was really wondering… why was I scrapping, was I good at ALL, and seriously what was my reason, because every page I made was making me feel frusterated and uncertain.

Then on Friday, I decided that enough was enough, I had a ton of CT stuff to finish up and if I stressed over every page I just would never get it done…. Not to mention that a person should NOT go through so much stress for thier hobby. So I just started, one kit at a time and got to it….

WOW!!! for some reason it is like the floodgates lifted, I just made a page, with out thinking too hard, or torturing myself over this angle or that, this element or the other. I picked a piece of paper, and just let myself go…

“as a mom of all boys I don’t get to see a lot of playing babies around here. So on this day, when the boys were all following Reece’s lead as he lookied for “beebees” to play with, I just had to snap this one time shot of my little guys all being “maternal.” We all know this sort of scene isn’t likely to come around again any time soon.”

“This May, everytime Owen would play in the backyard he would come back in carrying a bunch of lilacs for me that he had found outside. The first time, I was moved, what a sweet little boy I have. The second time it just seemed even sweeter. Owen is really such a thoughtful boy. The third, forth, and fifth time I started to worry. where was he getting all those flowers? I told him “No picking flowers, only bring them to me if they are on the ground.” Well, the next few times he went out back he came in with more flowers. My house really smelled lovely but I was starting to wonder if there could possibly be that many flowers on the ground. So I talked to Owen again, he assured me “I’m not picking flowers mom, these were on the ground.” Daddy knew better. “How Did the flowers get on the Ground Owen?” “I just shook the flower tree until they fell on the ground.” He told us with with a proud smile.”

“my boys are so sweet with eachother. In all the craziness that comes along with mothering three boys, it is such a gift to see them really loving each other. You can see it in the way they play.. These guys are so kind and loving toward each other.
These are the moments I know I’ll cherish, for ever: a genuine spontaneous hug between a truly sweet big brother and his “bu-buh”. Along with the fun, the wild play and the rumble tumble games – this is the legacy that I pass down to my boys – brothers, family, their first friends. Real Genuine brother hugs, and a lifetime of love.”

This is a “Freestyle” layout I did, I wanted to really let it all hang out, plus that is the whole theme this weekend for me, just do it and stop second guessing EVERYTHING :) . Totally conveys the nuttiness that insues when the little Reecey is involved.

WHEW!!! 6 pages later, and the weekend still isn’t over YET :)

*Nudge, Nudge* I’ve also been putting together some new Stapms, GO SEE what is up in the store, I think these ones are keepers ;)

See the B theme I have going on today… I could keep going but we’ll leave it at these…

Babies:

So my little boys have been making me smile this morning. Reece was wondering the house yelling “BABY, BABY” (ofcourse that would be pronounced “beeebeee” in 20 month old talk). He has been totally into babies lately, we saw my friend Kyla’s sweet baby yesterday and he just couldn’t get enough of her (poor baby ashley!)… This is the sort of interest that a momma of boys can get excited about, so I helped him find one of our few baby dolls in the house and got down our tiny little container of baby clothes and a single tiny bottle. They boys and I had a few sweet moments of feeding dolls dressing little stuffed animals and just enjoying a little bit of “playing dolls”. Now in THIS house of too much starwars, lego guns and crashing hotwheel cars – this is certainly a blog worth event!

Buzz Cut:
Well, pretty self explanitory right, Gareth needed a hair cut desperately, and MAN, it’s been SOOOOOO hot (and with us having a BROKEN AIRCONDITIONER and all) that I was feeling totally weak willed, and half hazard. And Gareth pretty much felt the same, and kept asking me – if he were bald, then would he be cooler? So we decided to cut his hair SHORT. He loves it, and is pretty much sure “I don’t look at ALL like a girl with this haircut!”… I think he looks SO SKINNY, and pretty much as lovable as ever!

Bunk Bed:

Yes. If you are thinking, is Reece’s head practically touching the ceiling because he is SO high up climbing on his brother bunk bed??? then, YES, the answer is YES…. and that would lead us to the GOING BUGGY portion of this post. Reece is obsessed with the bunk bed in a serious way, we can’t keep him down, and he won’t STOP with the climbing. Yesterday when it was supposed to be nap time he actually fell OFF the ladder, and got a BLOODY NOSE, ofcourse, I was SCARED to death, but he recovered just fine, and headed straight for the ladder once again. It is enough to make the whole bedtime/naptime routine of putting three boys down in the same room at the same time go from what was bad, to MUCH MUCH worse….

And with that, we have decided, to give up our precious office space :( … Reece needs his own child proof, safe, (foam filled and rubberized) room. So we are moving my computer into the living room… I REALLY want an armoire to keep it all contained and clean so I don’t have to give up the one purely pretty spot in my house… BUT, with AC issues, that isn’t something I can put on the TOP of my list…. anyways… a little moaning here… everyone please take a moment of silence for my beautiful personal space once known as the office.

Reece is Mr. challenge in my world, and maybe getting him in his own space at night will alleviate a bit of the craziness. So its a fair trade, one office space/beautiful living room for one not so nutty mommy.
