Well after more than 7 hours in the ER yesterday that is what they decided was wrong with me. Over the weekend I started having abdominal pain, and on Sunday we were at my parents house and it hit me so hard I couldn’t even stand up, I honestly felt like I was in Labor, top of the charts pain level, it was terrible!

We almost went into the er, but after about an hour it subsided some, enough anyways that I wasn’t in the fetal position crying anymore. So we decided I would call my Dr. during business hours… Well the next day I still hurt a lot, it walking hurt and my whole tummy was sore to the touch, so when I called my Dr. and they didn’t have any appointments open, they said I should probably go to the ER.

So poor g had to come home from work, and my sweet friend Casey let me drop off the boys (she posted some pictures of my three plus her two kids all playing on her blog). It was a whole lot of waiting… some blood tests and an iv… more waiting… some pain meds and an icky drink…. more waiting… g goes and gets the kids… an icky drink again… g takes the kids to dinner… more waiting… I go to a cat scan which involved another weird iv hook up that made me feel hot all over then getting moved back and forth through a big dough nut shaped machine… then more waiting… more pain meds (yay for morphine!) and finally the verdict of a ruptured ovarian cyst – they said it looked like it just ruptured so that would explain the pain…

I’m supposed to go back in if i get feverish or worse, and to call my OB in the next few days so she can tell me what the heck this means (I tried googling it, but it is either no big deal or really scary, and honestly it hurts too much for me to like the “no big deal” description, and I’d rather not scare my mom -or me really- so we’ll just skip any linking to what it means until I talk to the OB about it)

Until then, I’m sitting, laying down, and sitting some more, because when ever I move it hurts a LOT (well obviously, I have to end up standing because the kids need their mommy)… I’m hoping that the pain dissipates soon – My body is supposed to reabsorb all the ruptured stuff and I’ll start feeling better – keep me in your prayers because this SUCKS… and ugg, I just keep thinking about if this is going to be an issue with getting pg (google gave me conflicting answers there too) so please keep that in your prayers too.

In the mean time, I’m going to try to work and lay at the same time… and see if i can convince the kids to get everything they need themselves… wish me luck!

Keela Fox – I’ve been inlove with Keela’s pages for a long time! She has three boys like myself, but still manages to make her pages seem soft, and yet completely down to earth and fun! Here is a page she did a while ago using Techno Grunge.

Pam Bumbaca – Pam was on my guest team last October, and I couldn’t have loved her more, she is kind and generous and soooo sincere. To boot her gallery is filled with great bold colors and fun pages that I love to browse! Here is a page she did with the Extreme Dirtbike kit by Lauren and I.

Robin Forman – I don’t know Robin well yet, but I do know that I’ve been a HUGE fan of her pages for a very long time. Each and every one of her pages jump out at you from the gallery, and I’m really looking forward to all the things she is going to do with my kits! Here is a page she did using the BRAND NEW POWER PUFF PIXIES by Lauren Grier and I.

Tania Cordova Shaw – I am inlove with Tania’s work, her pages are grungy and bold and yet calming at the same time, I love Tania’s sense of style and am just hoping some of her talent rubs off on me and my scrapping! Here is a page where she used some elements from Grey Day and Mr. Cool.

Davita Edmundson – My jaw dropped looking through Davita’s gallery, her pages are stunning, each one is like a little masterpiece, and I am just in AWE that I get her on my team! Here is a page I found in her gallery using Dani and my A Year Of Memories – December kit.

Sam Ford- Sam is one of those scrappers that I was just THRILLED to find! Her pages are just soooo sweet and each one unique from the others. Sam is also a mom of three boys (moms of three boys UNITE! ) and they are the CUTEST! I am SO looking forward to working with Sam! Here is a page where she used my Stitched Swirls:

Karrina O’Neal – Another new scrapper that I’m sure is going to get REALLY BIG, she is spunky, she has style and her pages are really all INCREDIBLE! I love this one she did using the Extreme Skateboard by Lauren and I.

Laura McGee – I’ve secretly sort of been stalking Laura since i first met her on Dani’s team. Laura has some serious style, and her sense of color is really amazing! I love pages and each one makes me go WOW! Here is one she just did using the Power Puff Pixies again.

Biancka van Wijk- I was SO excited to find Bianca’s gallery! I don’t know where she has been hiding all my life, but she is amazing! Her pages are all stunning and original, and she is awesome with layers! I can’t wait to get to know Biancka better and I know you will all love her work! Here is a page she did using my Stitched Swirls.

Amy Carey – It was SO exciting to get an application from Amy, I’ve “known” Amy through galleries and through other teams for over a year now, but I really had no idea she was a fan of my designs! Her pages are gorgeous, layered, and rich and traditional but filled with color and energy! So exciting to have Amy on my team!! Here is a page she did using Grass Stains.

I’m just completely thrilled about all these girls! What amazing talent and on MY team, I’m honestly in awe – and there were SO MANY awesome applications! I just feel incredibly grateful!

I don’t have a ton of time right now, but i just wanted to stop by really quick and let you all know that I AM FLOORED – wow, I’m in total awe over the number and the caliber of applicants for my call – you all have completely exceeded my expectations! And all though I knew that with a call I would end up having to turn some people down – what I didn’t expect was to have to end up turning down SO MANY people, and so many knock your socks off incredible scrappers too…

wow wow wow – I have some serious work cut out for me!
