I finally finished something new, between the morning sickies and the sleepiness it has been a challenge, but I did manage an element pack.  These fun flowers can be stacked up in all sorts of orders for a fun piled up look :)

Pick them up at the Sweet Shoppe HERE!

We have all been wanting to go swimming lately, so this weekend, we went to my Sister’s Inlaw’s house where they have a really beautiful in ground pool. It was so nice to get out in the sun and splish splash a bit! I took a few pictures too (okay more than a few, but these are the ones I have to share for now – I really am dying to learn more about how to use my new Digi-SLR camera so if anyone has any tips or books you think I should check out let me know! I’m dying to learn!)

Gareth having a blast in the pool, this kid is DYING to learn to swim:

Reece really was not about getting in the water, this little man does not like things he is not in complete control of. After a bit, we finally got him in the pool, but he had to be in his own ring, and he wanted his space… hehehe, classic Reece

Owen had a blast floating around in his little ring, I love these splash shots I got of him:

and here he is all bundled up on a break to warm up, the pool was so nice and warm, but I swear, Owen is so skinny that he starts getting all chilly and shivery so fast in the water, just a bit of time in a cozy towel and the sun and he’d be toasty warm and ready for the pool again.

We had a great time, and it was good for the boys to get out for some play time (g and i too for that matter!).

Well tonight my sweet hubby and boys took me to Baja Fresh for dinner- preggo tummy was craving it! Then we walked over to target and the boys went on the hunt for some “Girly presents for mommy.” I’m so happy about my girly loot I ended up with!

Yes, as you can see, I got some fun little goodies and some useful girlie stuff, notice too, I got both the calming night time body wash AND the energy glow body wash because who knows when this momma will actually get into the shower :) Also the girly shaving cream was a must, because I had just gotten out of a shower where I shaved with g’s shaving cream, and I smelled a little manly!

I needed some hair rubber bands and of course who can resist some cute little shimmery lip gloss (especially if there are little rhinestones ON the little containers, too cute!). G found these yummy smelling green candles for me in three shades of green, my favorite color! Then we found a big fluffy new body pillow – considering I got my last one right before I started college almost 10 years ago! And then to girlify it, we got a fuzzy hot pink pillow case for it – I have to tell you, this body pillow is my new best friend, it is SO cozy and soft! I think I’ll be bringing it with me everywhere I go (so don’t be surprised when I have it at the park with the kids, or next time we go out to eat!)

And then the best part, we saw the cabbage patch kids, and I have to tell you every time i see those things, I reminisce about being a little girl and just the magic of having your own cabbage patch doll – with no little girls around here I don’t get to relive stuff like that much, so the boys all got me my own cabbage patch – she is a little new born and her name is Lea Damaris (uh, my middle name is lea so seriously it is like a match made in heaven us two). When I opened the package, i just couldn’t believe how wonderful that cabbage patch kid smell was, brought back memories, and made me smile. The boys love it too, and tomorrow we are going to fill out lea’s birth certificate and I’ll tell them all about the story of cabbage patch kids – am I just a bit too excited about this??? Seriously, just makes me feel all warm inside, I loved my cabbage patch kids growing up and it is so fun to relive that a bit.

Surrounded by boys around here, sometimes I need to girl it up a bit, and tonight was fun to go shopping and not walk out with a single matchbox car, or transformer or anything blue at all actually :) .

Fun night for me! What a great birthday, all this and my new camera- I’m one spoiled girlie! (Although surprise surprise baja fresh isn’t agreeing with me now that it is bed time… oh well, gotta give in to the cravings I say – it’s my probably my last pregnancy after all).

Apparently the new plan is to title all my posts with little Reecey quotes. But today is MY BIRTHDAY – and what better than a little Reece story to share. This morning when he found out it was my birthday he asked if the baby was going to come to my party (because ofcourse everything is about the baby right now, and ofcourse birthday means PARTY to a two year old) so I told reece I didn’t know mostly because I didn’t want him to expect some big exciting party. Well reecey decides to take matters into his own hands and puts his little head right up to my tummy and shouts. “Hey Baby, you like cake?!”

He told me afterwards that the baby said yes. :)

Well it has been a nice day, lots of resting, which has been great for this ever so tired new mama, and we are planning on going out ton dinner tonight, yay, love going to dinner!

And check out what I found in my gallery from my CT today!

They are the sweetest! I love you ct!!!Okay, so one more thing to do now that I am a 27 year old, and that is SLEEP! I’m looking forward to a nice birthday nap now! And then later, we’ll have to see about that cake!

Well this weekend we were very ambitious and packed up the boys and tents and our cooler and more snacks than we needed, and headed out for our annual MOMS club camping trip.

This is usually something I look forward to every year – but this year as I am really starting to fight some major morning sickness and I’ve been so tired I can’t see straight really so we knew it would be a challenge.  To boot, the weather was calling for showers where we were going so we knew it could be even more of a challenge.

I was really looking forward to getting the kids out of the house though, they have been a bit cooped up with mom feeling ick so often – plus their MOMS Club buddies were going to be there and that was an extra treat for them, and Reece was just thrilled that we were going to “go to the woods”- our little outdoors man longs to wander free.

In the end we did alright, It rained a quite a bit, but was not enough to make us miserable and it was really pretty warm so that helped with the whole being wet thing.  I brought my NEW CAMERA, that I’ve been so excited to learn – (I was all ready to buy that Cannon S3 when a friend said, why don’t you just buy my Rebel XT  instead?)  I was really thinking it would be a great chance to learn all about my great new camera, but instead it was so rainy and wet that I could barely even bring the camera out to play (not to mention that even taking pictures seemed like more work than I could handle).
Here are the few pictures I did get:

You can see just how MUDDY the boys were, lots and lots of wet dirt to play in, and the boys took advantage of it :)

Gareth and his buddy had tons of fun playing together!

Reecey looking cool, and feeling as tough as can be out in the cool fresh air.

We really did have a good time, although I swear it is going to take me WEEKS to recover- and I don’t know if it is the exhaustion or what, but the morning sickness is hitting hard this week.  A good sign I know because it is more evidence that little baby Clingerman is setting up shop in there, but WOW it is kicking my butt – still not puking so that is good, but gosh the waves of nausea are just as bad I swear.

And with that I’m heading to go lay down again, must recover a bit so i can start the four million loads of laundry that we generated out there in the wild :) .
