Battle Gear
Well I don’t know why it was that I thought little boys don’t play dress up – I guess Gareth never got into the idea of trying on costumes and pretending to be all sorts of things, but Owen and Reece have imaginations you wouldn’t believe. So, our smaller “adventure kit” toy container (that had compasses, cameras, binoculars, hats, ect.), has grown into a much bigger, and more full, dress up tub filled with not only gear, but also capes/masks/gloves and probably lots of other things i don’t even know (and don’t even want to know!) are in...

Well we had a wonderful Easter weekend around here – We are still not making it out the door with all four boys (not to mention 2 tired parents) – but we did have my family over for the afternoon, and a nice relaxing day together. So poor dani had to take pictures of him while he was turning his head, waving his arms and kicking as much as possible! I don’t know how she did it, but she managed to...

Short and Sweet today, but I have to say, I’m loving chore time around here… I know what you are thinking, but NO it is not so much because I love to work my kids like slaves! Really though it is wonderful to see my kids helping out around the house… and there is a sense of pride and ownership that they start to show for the house and I think it gives them a sense of belonging and purpose to know that they have jobs and ways to contribute. Here is Owen sorting dirty laundry – This chore really helps me a TON, I hate the whole gathering up laundry and sorting it by...
