Oh for mercies sake! Look who is already 6 weeks old:

I really can’t believe how much older he has been looking! This past few weeks I swear he has gotten twice as long, and he is really starting to seem more and more like a little person and less like a sleepy newborn bundle… Today I wanted to get a few pictures of him to show off how much he’s grown, and this first one is the perfect “Tennyson” picture. His face is always so serious and we are just sure the little professor must be thinking some pretty deep thoughts.

He is sleeping some 5 hour stretches at night, and during the day he is awake for longer and longer stretches. Today when I put him down for some tummy time he held himself up for a bit, and then pushed himself right over onto his back! I turned him back over, and grabbed the camera, and what do you know, he did it again!

It is bittersweet I tell you, there is nothing like seeing my little ones grow and become little people of there own – there is nothing like a sweet smile from your little baby and watching him learn new skills…. but at the same time, my baby is already 6 weeks old!!!

Sigh… just trying to soak it all in. Life is good.
