Today Owen comes running in the door from school and exclaims:

"Oh mom!  Today was my FIRST assembly at school!"

So I say "Cool Owen!  what was it for?"

"I don’t know" he said as if that didn’t matter in the least.

"Well what did you do there?"

He enthusiastically replied, "We sat quietly, and then sometimes we clapped!"

Sounds exactly like the school assemblies I remember!
