Well a ton of you got it right!  My collection is called “My Four Boys” and it is about the four little men I have the privilege of raising. In our family each boy has claimed a color and it makes general stuff ownership and picking things out easier.  It’s interesting too, because the colors they each love all match their personalities so well. I’ve had the idea to make a collection based on this forever – and ssd’s 4th anniversary was just the push I needed!

These are so special to me, and since they are about my boys, I put little descriptions of each of my amazing kids in the product descriptions, so I think I’ll share those here too!

First up, we have My Gareth:

Gareth’s favorite color is red. He’s the oldest and therefore the hero around here. The boys all look up to him, and he’s always so good to them. Gareth is all boy he likes black and grays he likes nuts and bolts, and he always has some random something he found in his pocket. He is amazingly selfless, and that older brother everyone wishes they could have. Gareth is my first born and he is a rock, I love him so much!

Next is Owen:

Owen is my sweet boy. He loves the color blue and it’s fitting of his calm quiet spirit. He’s the kind of person who sees beauty in everything and can create something from nothing. Owen is also so strong, he seems more quiet and reserved, but Owen has the kind of will, and the kind of will power, that will get him places in this world. Out of my 4 boys, Owen is the one who I know will try to do things right, and the one that will go out of his way just to make me feel special. I love my precious Owen so.

And then there is Reece:

Reece is like POW, he loves the color green and its fitting because he is so alive! Reece walks into a room and everyone sees him, he says something funny the whole room laughs, he says something clever and people are in awe. He’s got style with his spiky hair do and his cool jean jacket, and he knows how to work it! Reece just oozes charisma, and he knows better than to take no for an answer. If Reece wants to, he will make things happen in this world, and I love watching him take the world by storm.

Last but not least our little Tennyson:

Tennyson is my little one, but that doesn’t mean he has a little personality! Tennyson just lights up the room with sheer energy and excitement. When I say, “Tennyson do you want a sandwich?” He doesn’t just say “yeah,” he throws both arms up in the air and yells “YEAH!!” Tennyson isn’t just all spunk too, this kid has an iron will and he is pretty sure that the rest of the universe needs to just bend to it. He’s passionate and exciting, he’s sure and he’s strong. Our little Tennyson is so much more than just little, and he has all of our hearts, wrapped around his little finger.

My heart is just all swelled up with pride this week, I mean I’m just overjoyed to be releasing my first collection, and I’m really proud of the work I did.  But it’s more than that, because this collection is about four of the most amazing little people in the world, and they are all my own sons.  I’m so so lucky.
