Happy Saturday everyone!  This week I’m thrilled to show you what I have in the store for you!

I mentioned this yesterday, but strong enough really came from my heart this week.  It’s no secret that I struggle pretty seriously with depression, and I’ve had a few low points in the past several weeks.  I decided to make this kit to sort of reinforce for myself that I can make it through even the worst of times, that I have made it through so very much because I really am stronger than I give myself credit for.

Well you are in luck because this week I’m managing to actually get it posted!  We’ve had a nice quiet week this week because my amazing parents took the kids for 3 nights!  G is home from work too, being right in between the two jobs, so we spent 2 full days seriously just relaxing, we did some work around the house yesterday but tues and weds we just chilled.  We even slept till 9:30 yesterday, I can not even remember the last time we both got to sleep in past nine!

So, yes, I’m all rested up and ready for the weekend, which is a good thing because tomorrow evening we have 5 buddies coming over to help Gareth celebrate his TENTH birthday.  I just am pretty much in shock that here we are at ten!  Well the party is a sleepover, and Gareth has already made it clear that he really wanted to make it all about “Extreme staying up!”  I remember the thrill of staying up till the break of dawn when I was younger so I’m prepared to be up as long as it takes!

Well even with extreme relaxing and the extreme party planning, not to mention dealing with my extremely old son now, I have a kit all ready to go for you:

This one is probably the opposite of extreme, its soft and neutral and pretty calm. Although, it came from my heart this week, so I guess you could say  it is extremely meaningful

Oppsies, I forgot to post my friday fix yesterday!  I think I should get a free pass on it though, considering all the CRAZY this week has held for me.  I’m totally not going to bore you with all the details, but since I need you to all take pity on me, here is what the past week or so has held for the Clingerman house:

• All three boys finished their school year and all of the energy, and the noise that was once expelled far at school (and out of earshot) has moved right back into our 1200 square foot house. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week.
• G found a new job, and put in his 2 week notice at work
• Gareth got sick
• G got sent home for the rest of his 2 weeks of work
• I started my 3rd term as the president of our local

MOMSClub

• Reece got sick
• Owen got sick
• George has been knee deep in a new project
• Tennyson got sick
• I’ve worked out about 6 times at my new favorite place on earth
• I had my hair done
• G woke up to find his car was stolen
• I’ve designed, and designed, and designed
• G got REALLY REALLY sick….
• Did I mention, it is LOUD in here
• G got a phone call that his car was found, and undamaged
• We planned and sent out invitations for Gareth’s TENTH birthday
• I designed some more…

…um… seriously I think I’m missing something… which is scary because that is one heck of list!

Anyways, maybe now you will forgive me for spacing on my fix!

Well it’s Saturday again!  Is it just me or does it seem like it was JUST Saturday?

At any rate, I’m super excited to show you what I have in the the Shoppe this week!  First off I have this kit:

Stud Muffin is all about that special man in your life, and I can’t wait to scrap my own mr. wonderful with it!

This kit was actually part of a little challenge that several of the Sweet Shoppe designers gave ourselves this week – we  all looked through our own personal shoppe and picked a kit with a color scheme that we really wanted to use again!  Stud muffin was actually created using a color scheme I’d used for a Christmas kit, and it was the perfect challenge for me because I’ve been dying to get a boyish kit in the store using that red/teal combo!

As you might have guessed from yesterday’s peek, Darcy and I also have another fun twist on the coffee shoppe font pack:

I love how funky and interesting coffee shoppe buzzed is! To me it feels like a really structured but yet totally crazy font!  Totally my sort of thing -  I can see myself finding about a zillion uses for this puppy!
