So, I’ll probably just refer to this winter/spring in future years as the spring of the sick, I can’t believe how much we’ve been sick, and it just lingers around and passes from person to person, dear lord, it is exhausting!  This is why I’m hiding from the universe and leaving poor bloggy so blank.

But I had to find a minute to take the time to post about my yearly March for Babies fundraiser for the March of Dimes.  I wanted to make sure that readers and friends can have an opportunity to be involved.  Last year I was able to  pass my huge goals, and you can read that post to hear more about how much I love the March of Dimes and why it is personal to me… I also just want to say here that my heart is heavy when I think about the angels babies that have been taken all too soon from some wonderful parents I know and love.  It is for those precious families that I go out and walk this walk, and I remember and carry those children and families in my heart daily.

So now it is time to do my part once again.  We walk THIS SATURDAY, so we have less than a week to make a difference.  Here is a quote from the March of Dimes about what your donation goes toward:

Your gift will support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.

I know this year things are tight for many of us and that we are all feeling the weight of the economy on our shoulders so in no way would I want to guilt anyone, but if anyone of you has it in your heart every dollar counts.
